Vincent Price: Film & TV List

When it came to delivering chills and thrills, very few actors have been able to measure up to the looming 6' 4" legendary Merchant of Menace -- Vincent Price! Not only did he keep the horror genre alive for decades after the conclusion of its golden age, he also made it fun and brought out nervous laughter from captivated audiences everywhere. Armed with dark intellectual wit, an articulate and resonating voice that was both unique and immediately identifiable, and possessing a seemingly endless supply of confidence, Price made it all work to his advantage, becoming one of the greatest horror icons of all time. Outside of portraying some of the most interesting and delightfully sinister roles on film and television, Price was a well-rounded man who wore many hats, including that of a gourmet cook, an art collector and historian, and as an outspoken activist for human rights. His playful demeanor and generosity made fans and fellow showbiz colleagues especially receptive to the gentleman scholar who inspired many wherever he went. As a tribute, what follows is an extensive list of his films and television credits.
